Battery delivered and arrived intact and working order. You get a much longer run time with the 6ah battery which is the largest capacity I could find on the 40v Greenworks system but is not an official product.

I worked out I need an 8ah to cut my large grass area without battery swapping. I’m not sure anything bigger than a 6ah is currently available on the market however. Greenworks largest capacity for 40v mower seems to be 4ah so two of those is another option if you need them faster from the UK. The 6ah works fine with the official Greenworks rapid charger and is fully charged in around an hour which is great. Nice light display on the battery stating charge level and flashes green when recharge is needed. Longevity I can’t say as haven’t used it enough yet, but I assume it’ll be similar to the Greenworks 2 year battery guarantee but hopefully it will last allot longer at around £120 per battery.

Note: Battery takes a while to arrive as the company is based in Hong Kong which I didn’t realise until after I purchased. Not a big issue for me but if you need one next day for business you might want to try Toolstation 4ah dual pack. If not these 6ah China batteries seem really good but allow 14 days for delivery.

I would buy again when I require more batteries as product seems good so far.
