Warranty Period

The period of warranty is noted in the description of the product and usually equals 12 months. If the warranty period is not noted this product does not have a warranty. If more than 12 months, we will charge the relevant warranty fee.

Goods eligible for warranty

The date of the warranty should be in the timeframe of the warranty period that was noted in the description of the item during purchase (The warranty period starts from the date of purchase). Our or manufacturer's warranty service providers require from products following common rules:

  • Presence of serial numbers on products
  • Presence of warranty seals
  • No traces of repair
  • Compliance with service regulations of the product specified in the manual of the product

What's not covered under warranty?

  • Batteries are ordered from other merchants.
  • Products that are out of warranty.
  • Damage caused by improper operation or insufficient protection of the customer.
  • Damage caused by fire, flood, war, violence, or any similar incident.
  • Removal of the warranty sticker or tampering with the internal battery pack.
  • Modify or service through a professional outside of Batteryer.co.uk.
  • Non-product quality-related issues (including but not limited to drop, extreme temperature, water ingress, and misoperation).
  • The defect arises as a result of fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or abnormal working conditions.
  • The battery has decreased in capacity due to long-term use.

Note:

  • Rechargeable Battery is a Consumable product. Depending on the application and usage mode, it is normal that the maximum capacity of all rechargeable batteries will gradually decrease over time. Therefore, changes in battery capacity are not covered by the warranty.
  • Batteries are subject to wear. This means that the lifespan of a battery will decrease if it is used more often. Moreover, the quality of a battery will decrease over time, even if it is not used. More about the characteristics of batteries can be found in the following article: Batteries.

How to apply for a warranty?

  • 1. Contact us through our support page, including your order number.
  • 2. Please send us valid proof of product issues (picture and video), and explain why the product needs a warranty.
  • 3. Return the goods to our warranty department, and provide the courier number.
  • 4. When our warranty department receives your returned goods, wait for the technician to finish repairing the product. We will resend the repaired product to you. (within 3-7 business days)
  • 5. All products must be returned to us for warranty. We will send them to the manufacturer for repair. We will not accept warranty requests without a return.

Return Fee

  • The customers are responsible for return shipping fees and are responsible for shipping to our warranty department. It is the customer's responsibility also to arrange any insurance and packaging deemed appropriate and accept the responsibility of risk for any loss or damage during shipping.
  • After the repair of the product is completed, we will send it to the customer for free.
